South African Deliveries Only
Lumina Parts currently delivers within South Africa only. We do not offer international shipping or exports at this time - we can refer you to a 3rd-party provider to assist with cross-border delivery.
Order Processing
Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
- Local parts: Dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- International parts: Requires additional processing time. Customers will be notified of any expected delays.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Delivery Areas
We deliver to all major cities, towns, and regional areas throughout South Africa using Courier Guy.
Delivery times may vary depending on your location:
- Major metropolitan areas: 1–3 business days
- Regional and outlying areas: 3–7 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.
Delivery Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Size and weight
- Origin
- Courier service requirements, local and international
The applicable delivery fee will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available. Customers can use the supplied tracking details to monitor the progress of their shipment.
Receiving Your Delivery
- Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the parcel where required.
- Before accepting delivery, we recommend inspecting the packaging for any visible signs of damage. If the parcel appears damaged, please notify the courier and contact us as soon as possible.
Incorrect or Undeliverable Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing an order.
Additional delivery charges may apply if:
- An incorrect address is supplied.
- A parcel needs to be redirected.
- Multiple delivery attempts are required.
Shipping Risk and Liability
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all locally-sourced parts are shipped without transit insurance.
- While Lumina Parts takes every reasonable precaution to package products securely and uses reputable courier services, we cannot guarantee against loss, theft, damage, or delays that may occur once an order has been handed over to the courier.
- Ownership and risk in the goods pass to the customer upon collection by, or handover to, the courier service.
- Customers who require shipping insurance must request this prior to dispatch. Any additional insurance costs will be for the customer's account.
Lumina Parts shall not be held liable for:
- Loss or theft of parcels in transit.
- Damage caused during transit.
- Delivery delays caused by courier companies, weather conditions, strikes, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- Consequential losses resulting from delayed, damaged, or lost shipments.
Any claims relating to shipping damage or loss must be reported immediately, and Lumina Parts will assist where possible in lodging a claim with the courier company. However, acceptance and settlement of any claim remains at the discretion of the courier and/or insurer.

To assist with the investigation, please include:
- Your order number.
- Photos of the packaging and affected items.
- A description of the issue.
